It's probably safe to assume that these two NPBR alumni's adore each other.  Thanks to the Allick's for giving two great pups a fabulous home!

 Dodger and Shadow are two NPBR graduates who adore each other.  Dodger was NPBR's first heartworm positive boxers, sadly he's not the last.  Happily together, living in Omaha, NE

 We may have to bring Annie back into rescue, it appears her new family does not love her enough!  lol

Java loves being a part of the family, even if it means dress up time.

Addy ( aka Iris) wanted to say hi and that she loves going everywhere with her Dad--especially for rides in the new truck!

Hey to all my NPBR family I just wanted to give you an update. Thought I would let you know that I'm getting really comfy in my new home. I'm officially a hockey fan now. And for some reason my new Dad calls me Trey the destroyer of blankets-- I don't know but they do make fun toys.

Elvis didn't take long to settle into his new home.  He adores his brother Rocky who was also adopted from another great boxer rescue!  Thanks Vance family for giving two great boys the life they deserve!

Champ loves his baby brother and his boxer sister.  I think he is one content, happy boy! 

Cooper's family report that he had a very Merry Christmas and continues to be spoiled as he deserves.

Congratulations Duke - you not only made your Mom/Dad happy but your foster Mom too!  We will let birthMom Roxy know that her boy did good! 

Sadie and Journey asked their Mom Kris to send a big boxer greeting to everyone and to let us know that they have settled in nicely in Denver. NPBR misses you and also your mom--a wonderful NPBR volunteer! Take care of your Mom for us. Hope to see you all soon!

An update on Homer from his new family:
I have been meaning to email you and give you an update on Homer...we adopted him in September. He is absolutely amazing!!!! He is so sweet! We have been working with a trainer with him and he has been doing phenomenal. The trainer even commented on how he truly is a "rare" find...with his temperament and personality!!! Thank you so much for allowing us to have him!! Thanks again for connecting us with Homer. :)

Ryker update from his Mom... He is doing wonderful!! He is growing like a weed, no more being the runt. When we took him to the vet, the first thing the vet tech said was... "Oh my gosh, look at those paws!" Payson has been an awesome big sis, as you can see whatever one has, the other one wants too! He still hops like a little... jumping bean when he gets excited, too cute for words :) Thanks for the update- Ryker is definitely at home. Thank you.

From Zeb's mom--We are coming up on our last week of obedience class on Sunday. He is doing awesome in class and has come a long way in a short period. He has even gone up to people in class on his own to get petted. Not quite the social butterfly like Bella but at least he's not so scared of everyone anymore. Thanks, Laurel

Asher had a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving day - his wonderful furever home~  Asher, you will never have to worry about being fed, loved and shelter again.

Astra seems to be enjoying life on her 22 acres of land - what a lucky girl she is to have Leslie and David  as her new parents!!!

Just want to thank NPBR for bringing Gertie (formerly known as Bree) into our lives. She is an angel! So tolerant of all of the hugs and kisses......

Shelby and Venus, now known as Sarah, are very comfortable together in their new home.  This picture puts a smile on our face. They finally have the life they deserve.

Jacie now, Annie is loving the attention of her furkid companion and her two legged companions.  She now has the life she deserves.  Way to go Annie!

Well just wanted to give you a update on Mugsy.  He has done great since we got home the day we picked him up at Petsmart.  It took him one time to figure out how to get out for a bathroom break and he was on it.  What a character!  He does something if not things everyday that just makes us roll!!!  Cant beat it when he wipes his own feet off when they are muddy...super!  We couldnt be happier with the goofball for sure.  I will try to attach a pic or two to this email...hopefully they go through.  Anyway we will keep in touch especially when we can get some warmer outdoor weather!!  Talk to you all soon!!

Hello,

It's been a while since I contacted you with an update on Buddy (Astro).  He's doing wonderful here with Sophie and us, and is happy as can be!  We recently house-sat for some relatives, who have 2 dogs as well, and all 4 of them got along great.  We're still working on socializing him as much as possible, and taking him for car rides whenever I have a quick errand to run.  I've attached a couple of pictures of the two I took earlier today!

I checked out the new site today and it's looking good!  Keep up the good work guys!!

Addy (formerly Isis) is the queen of the house in Fargo with her mom, dad and 2 feline friends. Lucky girl!

Harley is… awesome! He went on his first big road trip with us over the holidays visiting my parents in West Virginia, Brad’s parents in Maryland, and even New Jersey and New York for New Years. He was a hit at everyone’s house and came back a very spoiled dog (my parents love to dote on puppies). We now have our friend bring over their Siberian Husky (and Harley’s best bud) during the work day so the two dogs play and are exhausted when we get home. I think they both love it.
